Seasonal RN Job Summary And Responsibilities
The Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and coordinates nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practices standards subscribed to and by the American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired patient outcomes. Supports the SMHCS mission and vision and in doing so, uses knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity in providing exceptional patient care and serves as a role model for professional nursing.

Required Qualifications
- Requires graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program (BSN is preferred).
- Requires a minimum of two (2) year of relevant nursing experience
- Requires current Basic Life Support (BLS) certified through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Requires a basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications
- State of FL RN Licensure
- BSN: Bachelor of Science Nursing
- Prefer certification in nursing specialty area
- Prefer current certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
