Welcome to First Physicians Group!

Hiring event at Sarasota Memorial Hospital - by appointment. *Please apply online to register for the event. You will be contacted to schedule on-site interview with a manager.

Now Hiring RN, LPN, Medical Assistant and Front Desk (Support Service Reps) to join our team to provide excellent customer service in our various provider offices with First Physician's Group.

  • Medical Assistant - Clinical Care Coordinator I (Salary Range $20.00/hr-$28.20/hr)
  • LPN - Clinical Care Coordinator II (Salary Range: $24.50/hr-$36.50/hr)
  • RN - Clinical Care Coordinator III (Salary Range: $29.10/hr-$44.50/hr)
  • Front Desk - Patient Relations Rep II (Salary Range: $18.00/hr-$26.05/hr)
  • Pay rates are calculated and based on years of experience (and equity with others on the team).

Various provider offices in the Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, North Port, Gulf Gate, Nokomis and Venice Areas:

  • Family Practice
  • Pediatrics

  • ENT (ear nose and throat)

  • Neurology
  • Endocrinology
  • Laryngology

Required Qualifications

Clinical Care Coordinator I - Medical Assistant:

Requires current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by:

  • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA),
  • National Healthcare Association (NHA)
  • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) By

  • American Medical Technologists (AMT)
  • Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
  • National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP); OR a certified EMT.

Note: Experienced medical assistants with a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience, and with a certification from a certifying agency not noted above, or without certification, agrees to register with one of the currently accepted agencies for MA Certification and schedule a test date within 6 months from date of hire.

Test for certification may be beyond the six (6) month date.

Certification must be received and presented to HR within 12 months of date of hire.

  • Requires Basic Life Support/CPR certification; or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date.

Clinical Care Coordinator II - LPN

  • Require Basic Life Support/CPR certification; OR must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date.
  • Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program.
  • LPN License (FL)

Clinical Care Coordinator III - RN

  • Require Basic Life Support/CPR certification; OR must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date.
  • Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program.
  • Require a minimum of one (1) year of clinical practice experience in a medical/physician office setting.
  • RN license (FL)

Patient Relations Rep II - Front Desk

  • Require computer, keyboard and data input skills.
  • Require pleasant and professional demeanor.
  • Require skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Require demonstrated initiative and self-direction.
  • Require ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, while maintaining proficiency and efficiency.
  • Require dependability/reliability.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • All positions in the offices are Monday – Friday.
  • Day shift.
  • No weekend or Holidays.
