Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Custom Cabinet Builder to join our team.
As a key member of our cabinet shop, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including cutting cabinet parts, operating an Edgebander, constructing custom cabinets, laminating surfaces, installing high-end cabinets, and ensuring the impeccable quality of our products. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive skill set in woodworking, attention to detail, and the ability to bring design concepts to life.

Responsibilities:

• Cut cabinet parts with precision using cutting machinery such as table saws, band saws, and panel saws.

• Operate an Edgebander to apply edge banding to cabinet components for a seamless finish.

• Build custom cabinets according to design plans and specifications, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

• Utilize laminate materials to create aesthetically pleasing and durable cabinet surfaces.

• Install high-end cabinets at client locations, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.

• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and timelines.

• Inspect finished cabinets to ensure they meet quality standards and client expectations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the cabinet construction process.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Custom Cabinet Builder with expertise in cutting,

Edgebanding, cabinet construction, laminating, and installation.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting design plans, shop drawings, and specifications.

• Comprehensive knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and cabinet hardware.

• Ability to operate cutting machinery, Edgebander, and other cabinet-making tools with precision.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, custom cabinets.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues during the construction process.

• Physical dexterity and stamina to handle materials and tools effectively.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
