Manager of Court Clerks and Jury

The Manager of Court Clerks and Jury Services serves as a key leader within the Court Services Department, overseeing the Court Clerk and Jury Services divisions. This position is responsible for ensuring essential functions such as deployment of court clerks, docket preparation for court events, jury summons, assembly and orientation, compliance with administrative orders, staff performance, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures on a day-to-day basis.

This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and productivity within the division, ensuring compliance with court directives while aligning division-led initiatives with the operational and strategic objectives of the Court Services Department.

Key responsibilities include establishing and monitoring performance measures that prioritize quality, accuracy, timeliness in courts related reporting and productivity of the division. This role involves developing, implementing, evaluating, and ensuring compliance with courts policies and procedures.

The Manager plays a key role in guiding team performance through evaluations, training, and coaching, fostering a welcoming, collaborative and innovative work environment. In addition to team management, this position carries essential responsibilities typical of a division manager supporting departments that deliver court services, with a focus on optimizing service to the community.

Through effective leadership, collaboration, and teamwork, the Manager of Court Clerks and Jury Services ensures that division-led projects and resource allocation align with organizational priorities and meet established goals from initiation to project closure. The Manager is also responsible for contributing to the budget development process, managing the approved budget, ensuring compliance with financial and procurement policies, and overseeing equipment, systems, resources, and facilities to maintain optimal division operations.
