Duties
- Conduct patient intake assessments, including collecting accurate medical histories
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision
- Assist healthcare providers with procedures
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccines following established protocols while maintaining patient safety standards
- Document patient interactions accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and ensure compliance with medical coding standards like ICD and CPT codes
- Support medical administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling, patient follow-up calls, and managing patient flow
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and assist during minor procedures
- Provide compassionate patient service by explaining procedures in multiple languages and addressing patient concerns effectively
Experience
- Prior experience working in pediatric clinics is highly desirable
- Demonstrated proficiency with EHR systems and familiarity with medical terminology
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, medication administration protocols, and basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Experience working in high-pressure environments
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish to facilitate effective patient interactions and team collaboration

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
