Senior Oracle Database Developer Key Responsibilities
- Design, create, and maintain Oracle database systems ensuring stability, reliability, and performance.
- Develop, test, and maintain Oracle database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
- Refactor and optimize existing database objects to support system enhancements and performance improvements.
- Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and database-related specifications.
- Collaborate with database teams, frontend developers, and support teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support critical production issues and provide timely resolutions when required.
- Maintain source control and version management for database programming artifacts.
- Continuously learn and implement new database technologies and programming techniques.
- Participate in database transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle relational database modeling and development.
- Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL development and database performance tuning.
- Experience with database version control tools such as VSS or equivalent.
- Proven experience supporting complex enterprise database applications.
