The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms on Google Cloud Platform to support enterprise analytics and data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end GCP data solutions covering ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics
- Design modern data lake and data warehouse architectures using BigQuery and GCP native services
- Build scalable batch and real-time pipelines using Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Dataproc
- Establish data governance, security standards, and best practices for cloud data platforms
- Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud data architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Expertise in BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Dataproc
- Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and data warehousing
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, and cloud security practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- 10 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture
- 3 years of experience in GCP Data Architecture
