Job Description: The Functional Data Domain Lead – Finance & Accounting will be responsible for defining, governing, and advancing the Finance and Accounting data domain. This role will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Actuarial, and Technology teams to ensure financial and operational data is accurate, consistent, and readily available for reporting, forecasting, and decision support.

Job Description: The Functional Data Domain Lead – Finance & Accounting will be responsible for defining, governing, and advancing the Finance and Accounting data domain. This role will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Actuarial, and Technology teams to ensure financial and operational data is accurate, consistent, and readily available for reporting, forecasting, and decision support.
Minimum Skills Required
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience in Finance, Accounting, or data-related functions within the financial services or insurance industry.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with querying and analyzing data using SQL (or equivalent query languages)
- Deep understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, STAT, IFRS) and financial reporting processes.
- Experience with general ledger systems, consolidation tools, and reporting platforms
- Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, and financial data governance initiatives.
