Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging high school teacher looking to promote the educational and emotional well-being of the children in our school-based program. The ideal candidate will be creative, flexible, and passionate about student success.
THE PRIMARY DUTIES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- Develop and implement educational and SEL curriculum/activities implementation.
- Complete educational assessments and evaluations.
- Implements positive behavior supports based Individual Education Plans.
OTHER DUTIES OF JOB:
- Serve as a substitute teacher as necessary.
- Complete assessments to collect data for progress monitoring
- Perform other related duties as assigned and required.
EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Valid PA teaching certificate required.
SCHEDULE:
- Monday through Friday
- Daytime Schedule
- School year schedule
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate (preferred)
- Act 33 and 34 Clearances
- CPR Certification
- SCM training
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
- FBI clearance
COMPENSATION
- Certified teachers starting at $18.75/hour
