What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cloud Engineer – High Growth Hedge Fund - up to $450k total compensation position at Saragossa?
Join one of the most modern cloud environments in the Hedge Fund space.
The fund is pretty new- there’s no legacy code here .You’ll be coming in to oversee the public cloud environments – currently AWS – where there’s a huge focus on automation and IaC.
The fund is tech and data-driven, so having systems that operate in a scalable, secure, performant and highly available manner is crucial to overall success. You’ll be given responsibility to be a true engineer and build all kinds of automated services in collaboration with cloud developers, the wider infrastructure team and business stakeholders.
You won’t be limited to one specific area. The team work together to solve all kinds of problems across the cloud environment. There’s a great chance to progress here as the fund is still in it’s early years, there’s still huge potential and investment is huge.
In terms of your experience, you’ll need to be an AWS and Azure expert. Specific experience, Terraform, Ansible, Linux,, Windows, Kubernetes, & Python will be required.
You’ll expect a starting salary in the range of $175-220,000k plus a performance related bonus that can take you up to $450k total compensation.
