Role Description
This is a contract position for an RMA - Hardware Design Engineer. Based on-site in Burlington, MA, key responsibilities include the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware systems, circuit design, and hardware architecture. The role also entails troubleshooting and implementing solutions for hardware-related issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support deployed hardware systems to ensure reliability and performance
• Drive design improvements for efficiency, scalability, and manufacturability
• Lead root cause analysis and resolve hardware failures
• Develop and execute validation test plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, firmware, mechanical)
Required Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering (or related field)
• 7 years of experience in hardware design (Automotive preferred)
• Strong knowledge of analog & digital circuit design
• Experience with PCB tools (Altium, Cadence, OrCAD)
• Understanding of signal integrity, power integrity & thermal management
• Experience with communication protocols (Ethernet, PCIe, MIPI, GMSL)
• Hands-on in high-speed design validation & debugging
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
