We have an immediate opening for an MES Engineer (Rockwell MES) with our client Cognizant supporting a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in St. Albans, VT. This is a full-time onsite opportunity.
Position: MES Engineer (Rockwell MES)
Location: St. Albans, VT (100% Onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and maintain manufacturing recipes and workflows using Rockwell MES.
- Configure MES applications, production processes, equipment, and batch execution workflows.
- Support MES implementation, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production go-live activities.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, QA, Validation, and Operations teams to ensure MES solutions align with production requirements.
- Investigate and resolve MES-related production issues while minimizing manufacturing downtime.
- Maintain system documentation, change controls, and validation deliverables in accordance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and system performance.
Required Skills:
- Experience with Rockwell MES; FactoryTalk PharmaSuite (FTPS) experience is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with MES recipe/workflow authoring and system configuration.
- Understanding of batch manufacturing processes and manufacturing execution systems.
- Experience supporting MES deployments, testing, and production environments.
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and Rockwell Automation platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with GMP, Computer System Validation (CSV), and regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Background:
- Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food & beverage, or other regulated manufacturing industries.
- Experience with Electronic Batch Records (EBR), FactoryTalk solutions, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and manufacturing process automation.
