Summary/Objective
The role of a Baker performs everything in the process and baking of pita bread for Saras Market & Bakery brand.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Weigh, measure, mix, bake following Saras Market & Bakery recipe
- Ensure temperatures inside building are optimal for proofing and baking dough
- Supervise Pita Line team members while they are packaging, train and mentor as needed
- Responsible for supply and ingredient orders
- Ensure quality and freshness of product and communicate any issues to Store Leadership.
- Inspect and maintain pita line to ensure it is working properly.
- Follow and comply with all applicable procedures and regulations, including Weights and Measures, FDA, health and sanitation, Department of Labor, ADA, HAACP, OSHA and safe work practices.
- Ensure that Team Members operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
- Leadership may assign other duties, not listed here.
