Duties include but are not limited to:
- Inventory cultures and Ingredients.
- Must be forklift certified.
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. bags of starter media.
- Accurate completion of documentation.
- Pull samples for the lab.
- Must be able to use a microscope.
- C.I.P. starter tanks, Brine UF, finesavers, cooker water tank, whey surge tanks, and tank jackets, and accessory equipment.
- Complete titrations and pre-op on equipment.
- Transfer cooker water.
- Assist RMC operators with form changes, and brine room attendants when necessary.
- Supply ingredients to Cheesemakers.
- Make primary tanks.
- Set secondary tanks.
- Maintain raw materials in the starter area.
- Assist with production needs.
- Peel starter bags daily.
- Must be able to take and pass a Pasteurizer test given by the State Inspector. Will have 3 months from being placed in job to obtain license.
- Must be able to cross train and master other jobs as assigned.
- Responsible for food safety and food quality.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Any other duties as assigned.
