Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and external vendors.
- Coordinate and prioritize daily and weekly maintenance work.
- Lead planning and execution of maintenance and clothing outages (Outage Captain).
- Manage maintenance budgets, forecasting, and cost improvements.
- Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance activities are executed.
- Lead Natural Work Teams and reinforce work management practices.
- Partner with Reliability Engineering to resolve complex equipment issues.
- Participate in periodic weekend maintenance duty coverage.
- Strong safety leadership mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent industrial maintenance experience.
- 8 years of operations or maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (pulp & paper, power generation, chemical, or heavy industry preferred).
- Hands-on understanding of equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning.
- Experience leading or coordinating maintenance teams, trades, or planners.
- Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance work management processes.
- Strong communication and ability to drive alignment across teams.
