Salesforce Developer / QA Engineer (Agentforce Focus)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
This role operates as a hybrid Salesforce Developer and Quality Engineer, responsible for both building and validating scalable Salesforce solutions with a strong focus on Agentforce AI capabilities. On a daily basis, you will design, develop, and enhance custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and standard Salesforce configuration tools, while also embedding quality throughout the development lifecycle. You will create and maintain automated test suites, execute API and integration testing, and validate data integrity across distributed systems. A key part of the role involves leveraging AI-driven testing tools to support test generation, anomaly detection, and validation of agent-based workflows within Agentforce. You will partner closely with product owners, developers, and offshore teams in an Agile environment to ensure that all delivered features meet both functional and quality standards, proactively identifying defects, improving test coverage, and contributing to continuous improvement across both development and QA processes.
Must-Have Qualifications
Salesforce Platform Developer 1 (PD1) Certification
Agentforce Specialist Certification
3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce Developer/Admin experience with:
Salesforce CRM, Apex, Apex Classes, Apex Triggers
SOQL, Visualforce Pages, Workflow & Approvals
Dashboards, Custom Objects, Package Installations
Email Templates, Formulas, Validation Rules
AppExchange tools, Apex Data Loader, Roles & Profiles
1 year of Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) development
3–5 years of programming experience with Apex, Core Java, and JavaScript
Experience with development tools such as Force.com IDE, Apex Data Loader, ANT (AutoRABIT preferred)
Hands-on experience building AI agents within Agentforce
1 year of experience with test automation frameworks and tools
2 years of experience in API testing and data validation across distributed systems
1 year of experience using AI tools for testing (e.g., test generation, anomaly detection, synthetic data) and validating AI-driven workflows/agent-based systems (Salesforce Test Center preferred)
Experience working in Agile environments (SAFe preferred)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience working in onshore/offshore delivery models and coordinating with offshore teams
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience with version control tools such as GitHub or RTC
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and broader automation strategies
Experience with IVR or contact center technologies such as Avaya, Cisco, or chatbot platforms
