The Role you will play:
- As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you’ll support both Engineering and Production by creating drawings, improving processes, and solving design and manufacturing challenges.
- Create and revise detailed part and assembly drawings for the shop floor.
- Build and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs), drawings, and job packages.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for design and production issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and reduce costs.
- Support Quality Control and collaborate with suppliers on design and delivery issues.
- Assist in prototype assembly and testing of mechanical and electromechanical devices.
- Participate in continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
Background Profile:
- AAS degree in Engineering Technology or related field.
- 3-6 years of related experience.
- Proficient with 3D modeling software (Creo or Solidworks).
- Experience with ERP and Haas CNC controls a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
