Extrusion Technician
$27-34/hr DOE 10% shift differential for 3rd shift
Overnights - 5pm-5am
Rotating Shift Schedule
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday; off Wednesday-Friday
- Week 2: Wednesday – Friday; off Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Sapphire Recruitment is partnering with a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in East Syracuse, NY to find an Extrusion Technician to be a key player on their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Walk-through the facility and review performance data of the extrusion process equipment
- Perform maintenance on automated extrusion systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and pneumatic systems
- Assist in equipment setup and installation
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology or relevant Technical Certification
- Minimum of five (5) years of technician experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with PLC controls, electrical hand tools, and precision measuring devices
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic circuits, PLC's, electrical circuits, electrical machinery, and human-machine interfaces
- Dedication to minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous production
