$20–$30/hr 10% shift differential when on 3rd shift
Training on 1st shift (6 AM–2:30 PM), then moving to 3rd shift (11 PM–7:30 AM)

We are seeking an Automation Technician to maintain and repair automated assembly and process equipment for an established company. This role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment setup to support production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair automated machinery and process equipment.
• Set up machines for specific production runs.
• Respond promptly to repair and troubleshooting requests from production staff.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation systems.
• Install, configure, and rebuild automation equipment as needed.
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace while following safety regulations.
• Provide excellent internal customer support to minimize downtime.
• Flexibility for overtime and weekend work when necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with electrical hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, Rockwell Automation Software, Cognex and Keyence Vision Systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn SAP.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
