Sapphire Pear, a luxury residential interior design firm based in Northeast Ohio, is seeking a Procurement Manager to join our tight-knit team on a part-time 1099 contractor basis.
This is a role for someone who is meticulous, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. Our clients are high-profile, our projects are high-touch, and our expectations are high — in the best possible way. We work hard, have fun, and work as a team.
The Role:
• Place and track all purchase orders through Studio Designer
• Manage vendor relationships, delivery timelines, and order acknowledgements
• Confirm physical receipt of deliveries before updating project records
• Collaborate weekly with our bookkeeper on vendor payment tracking
• Report on procurement status at Monday morning team meetings
• Maintain organized, accurate records across Asana, Dropbox, and Slack
What You Bring:
• 2–3 years of experience in interior design, furniture, or a related industry
• Proficiency in Studio Designer (required)
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Discretion and professionalism with high-end clients and sensitive project information
• Excellent communication skills — written and verbal
• A self-starter mindset and genuine team spirit
• Availability Monday mornings for our virtual weekly team meeting
Position Details:
• Part-time | 12–15 hours per week
• 1099 Independent Contractor
• Remote or in-person (Northeast Ohio area)
• $20–$30/hour, depending on experience
• Position open immediately
