Surface Prep / Coating Technician

Sapphire Metal Finishing is a job shop that provides anodizing services to machine shops and hobbyists in the north-west. We are involved in the finishing of electronics, scientific, medical, gun, knife, military, racing and power-sports parts.

Our growing company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented team member to assist with surface preparation for our anodizing and Cerakote coating operations. This position plays a key role in preparing parts prior to finishing and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process.

Responsibilities Include:

• Unpacking and preparing customer parts for processing
• Operating sand blasting cabinets and tumbling equipment
• Cleaning and preparing parts prior to anodizing or Cerakote coating
• Racking parts for processing on the anodizing line
• Performing quality control inspections
• Verifying part quantities and job accuracy
