What are the responsibilities and job description for the Anodizing Line Operator - 10am-6pm shift position at Sapphire Metal Finishing?
Sapphire Metal Finishing is a job shop that provides anodizing services to machine shops and hobbyists in the north-west. We are involved in the finishing of electronics, scientific, medical, gun, knife, military, racing and power-sports parts.
Our growing company is looking to add a line operator to our production team! The shift for this opening will run 10am-6pm with a starting rate of $17-$18 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Process parts in tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements
- Calculates the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts
- Removes parts from tank after specified time, rinses parts and immerse them in bath before finishing processing
- Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines
- Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line
- Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
1. High school graduate or GED
2. Ability to work with others and help create a positive work environment
3. Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic
4. Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift 25-50 pounds periodically.
5. US Govt. FFL (Federal Firearms License) permits do not allow us to hire individuals with felonies on their record.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
