Overview
Sapphire BLU is seeking Instrumentation Technicians to support advanced aircraft test and evaluation operations. Technicians will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot airborne instrumentation systems supporting developmental and operational flight testing.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain airborne instrumentation systems including QRIP, DART/eDART, RTAS, CRIIS, ARIP, AARI, FCR, HSDR, telemetry and beacon systems.
- Perform pre-mission, mission, and post-mission activities including calibration, functional checks, cockpit integrity checks, and data uploads/downloads.
- Integrate and configure instrumentation systems to support test missions.
- Coordinate instrumentation requirements and schedules with Operations and Aircraft Maintenance units.
- Analyze mission data to ensure compatibility with data reduction systems.
- Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work areas.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electronic principles and test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, telemetry systems).
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Experience with F-15, F-16, F-22, or F-35 aircraft preferred.
Minimum Education & Experience
- Level II: High School diploma or equivalent 5 years aircraft instrumentation experience

Pay: $74,605.52 - $89,847.51 per year
