Duties
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain and update medical records, documenting all medication administration and any changes in resident conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Uphold HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality of all resident information.
- Assist in daily living activities for seniors, promoting their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Engage with residents to foster a positive environment, addressing their emotional and physical needs.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology is essential for understanding medication impacts on the body.
- Experience in medication administration within senior care or assisted living environments is preferred.
