What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Sapphire Dental?
We are looking for an EXPERIENCED dental assistant for our beautiful, state of the art office. Our office is privately owned, with high emphasis on quality patient care.
Our ideal candidate is someone with warm personality, and attention to details.

- Our office hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. No weekends or evenings required.
- Previous experience as a dental assistant is a must!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Chair side assisting during examinations and treatments.
- Prepare operatories by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready.
- Take X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing inventory of dental supplies.
- Monitor vital signs when necessary and assist in emergency situations.
- Performing EFDA duties (EFDA certificate is required)
