Role Description The Project Architect will lead the design and documentation of architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring that client goals, building codes, and technical standards are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design solutions, producing detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and preparing and reviewing submittals and construction documents. The role also involves participating in design meetings, overseeing project schedules and workflows, and contributing to quality control and design standards. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Springfield, MO, requiring regular collaboration with the internal team and external partners.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Architecture, including design development, construction documentation, and coordination of building systems.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management to oversee schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools (e.g., Revit) for design, documentation, and coordination.
- Knowledge of Submittals processes, including review, tracking, and coordination during construction administration.
- Familiarity with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) principles and sustainable design practices.
- Professional degree in Architecture and progress toward or completion of professional licensure preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
- Experience with local and national building codes, standards, and permitting processes is beneficial.
