Outside Sales Representative Petroleum (Greater Omaha Metro Area)
Sapp Bros has continued to grow over the past few years, and we’re looking to add another motivated salesperson to our already great Petroleum sales team.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, developing new business, and helping customers find the right products and services for their needs. This position will cover the Central Nebraska region, including Grand Island, York, Columbus, Seward, Clarks, Fullerton, and surrounding communities.
You’ll work closely with our General Manager, Sales Manager, and teammates across the company to grow the business and provide great service to our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Build and follow a prospecting plan for your territory.
- Call on customers to take orders, enter them, and work with corporate to make sure products are delivered smoothly.
- Emphasize safety and proper handling with every customer interaction.
- Recommend product solutions that make sense for each customer.
- Track meetings, visits, and opportunities in Salesforce to stay organized.
- Stay up to date on new products and promotions, and share them with your customers.
- Partner with suppliers and teammates to deliver great service.
Maintain a sense of urgency and professionalism while representing Sapp Bros., Inc.
Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- At least 2 years of outside sales or account management experience (Petroleum, Lubricants, or Propane industry preferred).
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
