Sapna Foods, a leader in specialty food products, is hiring a director of eCommerce. For more than two decades, Sapna Foods has been serving the world’s highest quality ingredients at competitive prices. Our worldwide search for the best lots and harvest yields has taken us to six continents. We now supply spices, teas, oils and much more from 38 countries—providing them to manufacturers, extractors, distributors, and even small, family-owned specialty food shops.
The company is entering an explosive growth phase after moving into a newly renovated warehouse this past December and is seeking a highly dedicated and detail-oriented individual to serve as our primary Customer Support Representative. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for our existing customers and will be responsible for assisting them through the quoting, order and shipment process. This position will be paid a base salary with the opportunity for additional commissions. We are a small, tight knit team but we execute at a very high level. We’re looking for a self-starter with great attention to detail who will go the extra mile and work through errors and problems when they arise.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to and address customer calls & emails in a timely manner
- Quoting customers on a variety of products. Working with our purchasing & production teams to assess lead times and provide the customer with accurate information
- Accurate data entry when entering sales order into our ERP system
- Ensure all ECommerce orders are entered into our ERP for production in a timely manner
- Manage customer relationships & attempt to add items and upsell where possible
- Work with cross-functional departmental leaders to improve speed to consumer and item-level forecasting accuracy / in-stock rates
- Ensure inter-departmental coordination for smooth, daily order execution.
- Manage pricing to avoid any cross-channel conflicts and maximize channel profits
Skills & Requirements
- Customer-centric, highly skilled at relationship building with clients and suppliers.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Bilingual Spanish/English – preferred but not required
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit, with strong category, program, and product management skills
- Adept at assessing needs, generating options, and implementing solutions in collaboration with clients and stakeholder
- Self starter – someone who goes the extra mile.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
