Position Summary
Sapient Logic is seeking a creative, organized, and self-motivated Marketing Coordinator to support our growing marketing initiatives and digital presence. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work directly with company leadership to develop compelling content that showcases our expertise in defense technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and federal IT solutions.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with exceptional writing skills who can translate complex technical concepts into engaging marketing content. This individual will take ownership of our LinkedIn strategy, support business development efforts through marketing collateral, and help elevate the Sapient Logic brand within the government contracting community.
This position is ideal for military spouses, veterans transitioning into civilian careers, or early-career marketing professionals seeking meaningful, flexible work with a growing defense contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the company’s LinkedIn content strategy, including content planning, scheduling, publishing, and audience engagement.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with company initiatives, recruiting efforts, and industry events.
- Create compelling marketing content that effectively communicates technical capabilities to government and defense audiences.
- Track social media performance metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Develop and update capability statements, one-pagers, marketing collateral, announcements, and award submissions.
- Conduct competitive and industry research to identify trends and support marketing strategy.
- Collaborate with leadership to support branding, recruiting, and business development initiatives.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital and printed marketing materials.
- Assist with special projects and marketing initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong professional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience managing LinkedIn or other professional social media platforms.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear, engaging manner.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common digital marketing tools.
- Must be located in the San Diego area and available to work in a hybrid environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting marketing initiatives for government contractors or defense organizations.
- Familiarity with B2B, B2C and B2G marketing and LinkedIn analytics.
- Experience creating capability statements, proposals, or business development collateral.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with content management systems, email marketing platforms, or website updates.
