Sanz Clima is currently hiring for multiple positions at our US Location-Kenway Engineering Inc. Fairmont Minnesota. All positions are full-time with a 5-day work week. Overtime is available as the workload demands. We are willing to train the right people.

Job Summary:
The Production Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating production planning and execution across all manufacturing areas. This includes developing and maintaining production schedules, ensuring materials and resources are available, and supporting shop floor operations to keep production on track. The Production Coordinator will work closely with the Operations Manager, department leads, and quality personnel to ensure production goals are met efficiently, safely, and with high quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning & Scheduling:
- Develop and update daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for all manufacturing departments (fabrication, assembly, paint, and final inspection).
- Review work orders and prioritize jobs to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure material availability for scheduled jobs.
- Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate machine downtime, material shortages, or priority changes.
- Communicate production plans and updates to team leads and management.
2. Shop Floor Coordination:
- Work hands-on in various production areas to assist with workflow, material movement, and troubleshooting bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with production supervisors to ensure smooth transitions between departments and processes.
- Monitor work progress on the shop floor and provide real-time updates on job status.
- Support training efforts for new or cross-functional employees as needed.
- Assist with resolving day-to-day production issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
3. Quality & Process Control:
- Partner with quality control to ensure products meet company and customer standards.
- Identify process issues affecting quality or efficiency and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure work orders, drawings, and specifications are accurately followed on the floor.
- Support continuous improvement efforts focused on first-pass yield and defect reduction.
4. Inventory & Material Coordination:
- Track and verify availability of raw materials, subassemblies, and components.
- Communicate with procurement and warehouse teams to address shortages or delays.
- Assist in managing work-in-progress (WIP) to prevent overproduction or material buildup.
- Maintain accurate records of production materials used and returned.
5. Safety & Compliance:
- Promote and adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment across production areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or coordination in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including metal fabrication, assembly, and finishing operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiar with ERP/MRP systems.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on mindset and ability to work on the shop floor when needed.
- Ability to multitask and remain adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while working on the production floor.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
- Exposure to manufacturing environment conditions such as noise, temperature variation, and moving machinery.
- Manual dexterity for handling parts, tools, and production documents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
