Role Description
Santosha Yoga Collective is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pilates Instructor for one day a week, on-site position based in Loomis, CA. The Pilates Instructor will lead weekly group classes, provide individualized instruction, and create personalized group movement sessions tailored to student's needs and abilities. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a safe and supportive environment, occasional checking in students at the front desk, and collaborating with team members to enhance customer experience and integrating into additional classes on the schedule.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Pilates instruction with the ability to develop and lead individual and group exercise sessions.
- Experience in teaching and guiding clients through structured exercise routines, providing modifications where needed.
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles and applications to ensure proper body mechanics and injury prevention.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants.
- Independent self-starter who takes ownership of class experience and conversation with students to learn about their mobility needs, movement goals, and to support the studio.
- Passion for movement, wellness, and fostering inclusivity within a community-focused environment.
- Certification in Pilates instruction and CPR/First Aid; additional fitness, yoga, or wellness certifications preferred.
