Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering packages efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on route driving, load & unload operations, and maintaining timely deliveries across designated areas. Candidates with experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and heavy lifting are encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate delivery within timely manner while following training directions.
- Ensure accurate loading of goods to prevent damage during transit.
- Deliver packages to customers promptly while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service.
- Navigate route driving efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist with warehouse operations including moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services, preferably with route driving experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Commercial driver’s license (CDL) or
driver certification is a plus. - Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is desirable (BUT NOT REQUIRED).
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Excellent navigation skills for route planning and driving efficiency.
