What You'll Do
- Set, align, and strip forms for flatwork, curb and gutter, and structural pours
- Place, screed, float, and finish concrete to spec (broom, trowel, and edge work)
- Build and check grades, including ADA-compliant slopes and ramps
- Read site plans and pour layouts; work from grade stakes and string lines
- Operate power tools and finishing equipment (saws, grinders, power trowels, vibrators)
- Work as part of a tight crew with experienced foremen who teach as they go
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of concrete forming and/or finishing experience (commercial or municipal flatwork preferred)
- Ability to read plans and understand grades, slopes, and elevations
- Experience with MDOT-spec or public work is a plus
- ADA ramp and slope experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites (required)
- CDL is a plus (and a pay bump)
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in the finished product

Schedule
