Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Toast, Sky Tab, Spot on, Lightspeed .
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm and promptness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and POS transactions with accuracy, including basic math calculations for bills and change.
- Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible serving practices in compliance with legal regulations.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages regularly to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods.
Experience
- MUST have previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast, Sky Tab, Spot on, Lightspeed is a plus.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Experience serving in fine dining establishments is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and accurate billing are required.
