Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber Technician to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances according to blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively on-site
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for plumbing installations or repairs
- Conduct remodeling tasks involving plumbing systems or related mechanical components
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work with carpentry, HVAC systems, and other trades
- Perform routine inspections to identify issues with plumbing systems and execute repairs or replacements as needed
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for quality assurance
Experience
- Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on plumbing installation and repair
- Hands-on knowledge of construction plumbing techniques including pipe threading, welding, and schematic reading
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and general mechanical knowledge related to building infrastructure
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and welding equipment safely
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex plumbing layouts
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in construction environments
- Prior maintenance person or remodeling experience is a plus; strong carpentry skills are beneficial
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is advantageous
