We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Control Technician to join our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting a variety of physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses to ensure the quality and safety of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products. This role requires adherence to strict quality control protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Testing & Analysis:
Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses on raw materials, in-process items, finished products, and water samples to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
- Laboratory Operations:
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments; prepare and manage testing materials, solutions, standards, solvents, and controls.
- Sampling & Inspection:
Collect, label, and organize product and water samples from production lines and storage; perform routine line inspections and maintain retention inventory.
- Data Management & Reporting:
Accurately record test results and quality data, maintain detailed documentation, and promptly report any out-of-specification findings to supervisors.
- Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to GMPs, plant safety procedures, environmental regulations, and OSHA standards to maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment
Qualifications & Skills:
- 0–2 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance (preferably in the food manufacturing industry).
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel, Word).
- Solid math skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. (No sponsorship or relocation available.)
