What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher - Palladium position at Santikos Entertainment?

Santikos is looking for Dishwashers to provide our guests with exceptional service through outstanding cleanliness at our Palladium location.
What would I be doing in this position?
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas. (You will be the hero of the entire kitchen team.)
- Load and unload dishwashing machines. (Easy stuff.)
- Wash specific items by hand, such as cutting boards, large pots, and delicate china. (Those items need a little extra TLC.)
- Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately.
- Set up workstations before meal preparation begins. (It’s always best to be prepared!)
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours. (Our guests like using clean stuff… all the time.)
- Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical or performance issues. (Make those machines work!)
- Remove garbage regularly.
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor. (No one likes to work in a dirty place.)
What education or experience do I need to have to qualify?
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Some work experience as a dishwasher or waitstaff preferred
- Hands on experience with industrial washing machines preferred but not required
What skills, abilities, and knowledge do I need to be successful in this position?
- Flexibility with scheduling – ability to work holidays, nights, and weekends
- Be able to listen up and follow instructions and sanitation rules
- Great can-do attitude and willingness to work
- Awesome time management skills and attention to the small things
- Ability to work in and collaborate with a team
- Dependable with attendance – your team and our guests need you!
