MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS / AND APPLICATION PROCEDURE: See job description for a complete list of qualifications and requirements. NCLB COMPLIANCE: (If required by job description) Proof of Associate’s Degree (AA); or 48 college semester units; or proof of passing Santee School District’s Proficiency Test (certifications from other Districts are acceptable if NCLB criteria meets Santee School District’s requirements) and must be attached to your application. NCLB TESTING:(If required by job description) Applicants applying for a position requiring NCLB certification, and who are not NCLB compliant, must pass the Santee School District’s NCLB Proficiency Test. • Other (Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade. Twelve semester units in early childhood education, including units in child development, child-family, and community, and curriculum and two years experience in a group preschool child care setting is desired. Child Development Associate Teacher Permit, Child Development teacher Permit or Child Development Master Teacher Permit also qualifies. )
