Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Coordinator of Special Education and the immediate supervision of the site principal, the Language, Speech and Hearing Specialist provides specialized instruction and services for students who have disorders of language and speech: performs language assessments; assists in developing the Individualized Educational Program for students with language and speech deficits; and confers with teachers and parents; provides consultation and assistance to teachers and parents to better meet the needs of students with speech/language deficits.
