Security Analyst

Position Description

• This position is responsible for serving as a CSOC Analyst, leveraging multiple platforms to respond to events and participate in incident response. The ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical individuals, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service is required.
  
  
  

Essential Job Tasks:

• Performs SOC roles including but not limited to forensic analysis, network monitoring and ticket escalations.
• Serves as a system administrator for SOC owned platforms.
• Updates procedures and guidelines as a result of process changes.
• Provides reports to internal stakeholders and conducts SOC status meetings.
• Must demonstrate flexibility in job roles.
• Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation.
  
  
  

Required Experience & Skills:

• SOC or Help Desk / Service Desk Background: Previous experience working in a Security Operations Center or a similar technical support role.
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt to evolving job roles and responsibilities.
• Endpoint Security: Experience working with enterprise endpoint solutions, including Antivirus (AV), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), proxies, and firewalls.
• Malware Analysis: Experience in malware analysis, or a strong desire and ability to learn.
• Threat Hunting: Experience in threat hunting or the eagerness to develop these skills.
• Scripting Skills: Proficiency in PowerShell or Python, or the ability to quickly learn these scripting languages.

Security Analyst I

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree or Associate’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related field 2 years of related experience or a High School Diploma 4 years of related experience.
  
  
  

Compensation Information:

$66,390 - $82,980 (min. - mid.)

Security Analyst II

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree with 2 years experience in the Information Technology (IT) field and 1 year direct experience in IT security required or Associate’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related field 4 years of related experience or a High School Diploma 6 years of related experience required.

$82,520 - $103,140 (min. - mid.)

Security Analyst III

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree is required 5 years of experience in the Information Technology field.

$102,560 - $128,200 (min. - mid.)
