Position Description
Provides admin, support, and cybersecurity services for Operation Support Systems. Evaluates and analyze systems requirements and implements technical solutions relating to Santee Cooper's Energy Management System (EMS), including external supporting networks. Administers fulfillment of compliance objectives with NERC requirements on all subject systems, including generating, compiling, and reviewing evidence and policies, procedures, and guidelines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to subject matter expert and support representative for technologies and process for access control, Windows operating systems, patch management, systems permissions, network monitoring, performance assessments. Documentation, strong attention to detail, and change management adherence are major components for this position. Additional duties include system monitoring, server support functions, backup/restoration activities, log/alert reviews.
Essential Job Tasks:
Maintains all hardware/ software necessary for networking and functionality of EMS Platforms responsible systems.
Maintains and/or installs workstations, servers, appliances, supporting devices, infrastructure, etc.
Maintains local data warehouse, data server and log servers.
Serves as lead for securing and protecting Cyber Assets and systems.
Acts as the administrator of the Change Management Tracking System, access control, inventory management, baseline management, and information protection systems.
Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all aforementioned items for CIP compliance discussions, meetings, audit preparation activities, audits, and mitigation plans.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering 2 years experience or Associate's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering 4 years experience or High School Diploma/GED 6 years experience.
Must have knowledge of Checkpoint and Cisco equipment; communications protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, DNP, ICCP); network troubleshooting; system performance monitoring and improvements, and management systems.
Must have experience with Windows operating systems, malware preventions, system backup/restoration applications, firewalls, vulnerability scanning tools, patching deployment.
Experience and an operational understanding of the following will be fundamental to this position: Windows Server/Workstation, Checkpoint SmartDashboard, Tripwire Log Center/Enterprise.
Certificated Information System Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent security certification is highly preferred to advance in this career path.

Salary : $82,520 - $103,140
