Role Overview
We are seeking a Python Platform Engineer with Applied AI experience to support enterprise-
scale digital platforms focused on content management, navigation, enterprise search, and
automation.
This role will contribute to the modernization of enterprise search platforms, transitioning from
traditional rule-based systems to AI-powered semantic and intent-driven search capabilities.
The engineer will work on scalable backend services, automation frameworks, and AI-enabled
enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain production-grade Python services supporting enterprise CMS,
search, and automation platforms.
Develop APIs and backend services integrated with large-scale digital systems and
internal platforms.
Contribute to modernization initiatives moving enterprise search toward semantic and
ML-driven search capabilities.
Support AI-driven search relevance and intent-based automation initiatives.
Build automation workflows for operational support, ticketing, access provisioning, and
internal tooling.
Deploy and manage scalable services using Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD
pipelines.
Collaborate with architecture, platform engineering, and product teams across
enterprise environments.
Integrate ML outputs into production systems including inference APIs and automation
pipelines.
Improve reliability, observability, scalability, and performance across distributed
platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
5 8 years of hands-on Python development experience in production environments.
Strong experience building backend systems, APIs, and scalable distributed services.
Hands-on Cloud Platform Experience (AWS Preferred, GCP Acceptable).
Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience working with enterprise-scale systems and distributed architectures.
Ability to work effectively across platform engineering, architecture, and product teams.
Experience applying AI/ML or NLP techniques within production systems, especially
related to search or automation use cases.
