Job Summary

Our client, Capgemini, is seeking an experienced EMC Compliance Engineer to support product compliance, validation, and certification activities for electronic and wireless products. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience performing EMI/EMC, Safety, and Environmental Compliance testing, ensuring products meet industry and regulatory standards prior to certification and release.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and compliance teams to execute product qualification, troubleshoot compliance issues, and support certification submissions to regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform EMI/EMC testing for electronic and wireless products.
• Execute Safety and Environmental Compliance testing according to industry standards.
• Troubleshoot compliance failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Support product qualification and validation activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Conduct environmental compliance testing for hardware products.
• Assist with certification submissions through regulatory agencies including FCC and Telecommunication Certification Bodies (TCBs).
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure products meet regulatory and customer compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation, reports, and test results.
• Participate in product approval and certification processes.
• Ensure testing activities are completed in accordance with applicable compliance standards.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in EMC/EMI testing and compliance engineering.
• Strong experience performing:
• EMI Testing
• EMC Testing
• Environmental Testing
• Safety Testing
• Compliance Troubleshooting
• Experience with Wi-Fi and NFC compliance testing.
• Working knowledge of:
• LVD (Low Voltage Directive)
• RED (Radio Equipment Directive)
• EMCD (Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive)
• Understanding of regulatory certification processes through FCC and TCBs.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RTCA DO-160G EMI and Environmental Testing.
• Experience supporting Avionics Radio Products.
• Experience with product qualification and regulatory approval processes.
• Previous experience working with aerospace, defense, or electronics manufacturers.
• Knowledge of international EMC compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
