The Difference You Make: The Associate, M&A role is to act as a key member of the M&A team, supporting senior bankers throughout the full life cycle of client interactions from origination to closing of transactions, including, origination, modelling and valuation, management meetings, diligence, financing, tactics and negotiation of definitive of documentation. Work with senior bankers and participate in client transactions, projects or assignments as a member of the Investment Banking team Responsible for organizing and analyzing sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plans Prepare valuation materials and M&A analyses for pitches and live deals Conduct market, economic, & financial research Build complex financial models for valuation purposes Operate within compliance parameters and demonstrate sound business judgement What You Bring: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Master's Degree/ MBA: MBA - Preferred. 3-5 Years Finance, Business or related field/sector - M&A Demonstrated knowledge of corporate finance and investment banking products, with a preference to experience in [sector]. Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint with advanced financial modeling skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Team player and self-starter. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal execution skills. Excellent communication, project management, and leadership capabilities. Certifications: SIE, 79, 63 It Would Be Nice For You To Have: Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education. Experience in Microsoft Office products. What Else You Need To Know: The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
