This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Loan Officer located in Stratford, CT. The Senior Loan Officer will oversee all aspects of loan origination, from initial client engagement to closing. Responsibilities include assessing clients' financial needs, providing expert advice on mortgage products, reviewing credit and financial data, preparing loan applications, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines. This role also involves maintaining excellent customer service and building lasting client relationships.
- Experience in Loan Origination processes and working as a Loan Officer
- Strong background in Finance and knowledge of Underwriting principles
- Exceptional skills in Customer Service, including clear communication and relationship management
- Understanding of mortgage practices, regulations, and financial analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in the mortgage or financial services industry is highly desirable
