SanTan Brewing Company is looking for an Offsite Catering Server - Bartender to join our team in Chandler, AZ.
Located in the Phoenix metro’s East Valley, SanTan was founded in 2007 in downtown Chandler, where we continue to operate a 15-bbl brewery & restaurant in our original location. In 2013, we added a production facility with a 50-bbl brewhouse, where we package beer in both cans and draft. SanTan branched out into distilled spirits in 2017 and in 2019 expanded to include Spirit House; a cocktail-driven bar with a delicious food menu, lounge-like atmosphere and knowledgeable, approachable staff. A clear departure from the standard craft cocktail bar, Spirit House aims to demystify the world of distilling and flavor pairing through friendly education and quality service. We're devoted to uncommon quality for everyday occasions and we are looking for eager, energetic and friendly team members who share our vision!
This position does comply with the Arizona Minimum Wage Tip Credit in accordance with AZ Statute 23-363(C): Industrial Commission of Arizona and tips weekly with hourly wage payouts bi-weekly.

Primary responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 4-15 staff members to ensure events are successfully being sought through
- Understand and follow a timeline and layout
- Cultivate good relationships with venue owners and managers
- Review and understand every BEO prior to each event
- Ensure quality control of all things catering including set up of venue and food quality
- Eagerness to learn
- Passion for spirits and bar service
- Uphold company values, abide by company policies, procedures and promote a safe, positive work environment at all times
- Work weekdays, weekends and holidays that may include flexible or long hours
- Follow all required safety and standard operating procedures
- Request real time help from supervisors or other managers when needed
- Communicate and treat fellow co-workers and other members of the SanTan team with respect
- Adhere to a “Safety Always” mindset and comply with safety policies & programs
- Approach every task with quality in mind, paying attention to detail & accuracy

Qualifications
All employees are expected to:
- Have reliable transportation to and from approved off-site venues and work locations
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety and efficiency, constantly evaluating work practices in the spirit of “always improving.”
- Communicate effectively and openly with team members
- Work in a kitchen/restaurant environment which may be loud, hot, crowded, or have wet/slippery floors
- Multi-task and follow standard operating procedures
- Bend, crawl, twist, turn, lift, kneel, climb ladders and stairs
- Stand for prolonged periods
- Wear the proper uniform for the duration of the shift.
- Work indoors and outdoors
- Regularly lift/carry objects (35 lbs.) repeatedly and safely above waist-level
- Occasionally move heavy objects (165 lbs.) with a hand-truck or pallet-jack
Salary : $15 - $20
