What are the responsibilities and job description for the On Call Banquet Server position at Santa Ynez Valley Marriott?
BANQUET SERVER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for serving menu items to guests in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner and according to hotel specifications and group requirements. To serve our guests in accordance with Marriott standards of Food and Beverage quality, presentation and sanitation in a gracious and professional manner. To take pride in all aspects of service, quality, appearance and cleanliness towards yourself and your area of responsibility.
BUSSER REQUIREMENTS:
- Develop knowledge about frequent guests and their special requests and needs.
- Be knowledgeable about proper etiquette and protocols.
- Strive to represent Marriott in the most positive, professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Report to work complying with all appearance standards.
- Follow associate break and meal schedule.
- Be aware of work schedule and report to work on time.
- Check out with immediate supervisor before leaving the work area.
