Santa Ynez Valley Christian Academy (SYVCA) Elementary Teacher (5th Grade) Santa Ynez Valley, CA | Full-Time, Exempt Santa Ynez Valley Christian Academy is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered 5th Grade Teacher to lead students academically and spiritually during this important upper-elementary year. The ideal candidate will provide engaging instruction, integrate biblical truth throughout the curriculum, and partner closely with families to support student growth. Salary Range: $46,000–$58,000 annually (commensurate with experience) Benefits: Health insurance, retirement plan options, paid time off, professional development support, and a collaborative, mission-driven work environment. Responsibilities • Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction in core subjects. • Create a structured, nurturing classroom environment. • Integrate Scripture, prayer, and biblical worldview into daily learning. • Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents. • Attend staff meetings, school events, and supervisory duties. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required); Master’s preferred. • State certification or ability to obtain licensure. • 3 years teaching experience preferred. • Strong classroom management, communication, and technology skills. • Clear calling to Christian education and agreement with SYVCA’s mission and Statement of Faith.
