Position: Systems Engineer II– (IT Infrastructure)
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 (DOE) benefits
Reporting to: Sr. Systems Engineer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and driven Systems Engineer II to join our team. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth. The ideal candidate will have experience working with VMWare, VxRail, and Nutanix, alongside expertise in managing core infrastructure components such as Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy. As part of our dynamic IT team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our systems, contributing to the stability and efficiency of our enterprise environment.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Manage and maintain virtualized environments (VMware, VxRail, Nutanix, AWS, Azure).
- Manage and maintain backups using Commvault/Veeam.
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy.
- Execute infrastructure projects such as cloud migrations and new system deployments.
- Optimize workflows using scripting tools (PowerShell, VB, Python).
- Provide end-user support and manage service tickets via an ITSM system (as needed).
- Maintain IT documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Troubleshoot server, networking, and security issues.
- Collaborate with business users to resolve IT-related challenges.
- 24/7 on-call rotation via Pager Duty with weekend support as needed.
- Attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks in Jira and manage work without supervision.
Preferred Skills:
- Office365 Suite (OneDrive, PowerBI, Power Automate).
- Experience with Layer 3 switches, firewalls, VPNs, and ITSM systems.
- Mail flow and email security management experience.
- ERP or POS system experience in B2C environments.
- Relevant certifications (VMware, AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365, or CCNA) is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL/MySQL and RF warehouse technologies.
