Graphic Designer
Location: Santa Monica Seafood Company
Schedule: Onsite 8am-5pm
Duration: Temporary, 3– 6months
Pay Rate: $5,720/month.
Position Overview
Santa Monica Seafood is a place to create, grow, and inspire.
The Graphic Designer will create visual assets to support company branding, marketing, and sales efforts. This role serves as the main point of contact for all graphic design and creative needs on assigned projects and collaborates closely with the marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Create visual assets aligned with brand guidelines and company objectives for marketing and sales.
- Design and implement multiple weekly and monthly email newsletters.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for any graphic design or creative needs on assigned projects.
- Develop and edit creative materials for company websites and social sites including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Retouch, photo edit, and color-correct product photos.
- Take product photos, create POS sheets, and develop other sales collateral.
- Perform project updates, revisions, and ongoing maintenance as required.
- Support other marketing and creative tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- B.A./B.S. in Graphic Design preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong skills in typography, layout, and composition.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Excellent verbal and visual communication skills; dependable, positive, and open-minded.
- Self-motivated; able to work across multiple projects and tight deadlines in a team environment.
- 2–3 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally for a company or agency.
- Must provide an online portfolio link.
- 100% onsite position at Santa Monica Seafood Company.
Desired Skills
- Experience with WordPress, Monday.com, and MailChimp are a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
- Basic photography skills are an advantage.
- Understanding of printing and digital design processes and specifications.
